Our client is currently looking to bring on an experienced, motivated and dedicated Fabric Technician to join their Maintenance Team on a fantastic, state of the art, flagship site based near London Bridge. This is a great role to get into if you're looking for a proactive role, career progression and to be valued as part of a team.In this role, you will be representing the client on site in a professional and polite manner whilst carrying out fabric duties on site, liaise with subcontractors and actively seek out work to carry out on site. This is a static role, following a fixed pattern, Monday - Friday, 8 -5 as part of a team.Key Duties:

  • Carry out all fabric duties including carpentry, painting & decorating, replacing ceiling tiles and laying carpet tiles.
  • To undertake PPM and reactive works to ensure that all jobs are completed in line with Service Level Agreements, Key Performance Indicators and Critical Performance Indicators
  • To immediately report any potentially dangerous situations
  • To order materials and services using ordering system and to update records and job sheets to certify satisfactory delivery/completion
  • Have good Health & safety knowledge and ensure that HSSE policies and requirements are adhered to and promote a positive culture within the team.
  • Ensure your own PPE and Tooling is kept safe, secure and in good condition.
  • Work closely with sub-contractors to ensure agreed service and safety standards are met - some monitoring of work during service visits may be required.

Role Requirements:

  • At least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance
  • Polite and personable attitude
  • Works well in a team
  • Proactively seek out work
  • City and Guilds / NVQ qualifications in any of the following - Carpentry, Joinery, Building Construction knowledge or mechanical or electrical biased engineering - Desirable, not essential

Salary and Benefits:

  • £35,000 - £38,000 per annum
