The role of Specialist Transport Planner - Heavy Haulage will involve:

The efficient planning of all heavy haulage solutions.
Being the main point of contact for all heavy haulage and escort drivers.
Submission of all route notifications relevant to STGO (Category 3).
Planning for any rail-based customers.
Working closely with the project team to ensure successful planning and completion of all jobs.
Resolving any issues for drivers or customers regards heavy haulage.

Profile

A successful Specialist Transport Planner - Heavy Haulage will need:

Excellent transport planning experience (3 years minimum).
A background in planning for abnormal loads and route notifications.
Strong IT skills, particularly with TMS.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Advanced communication skills (internal and customer).

Desirable:

OLAT trained or Transport Management CPC (desirable).
Familiarity with STGO Regulations.
Understanding of technical drawings.
